Integration Testing Standards


The following are the standards of integration testing :

  1. Integration Test plan has to be signed off by the test manager prior to testing
  2. Test cases has to be designed and approved prior to testing
  3. Defect classification has to be done prior to testing
  4. Test templates has to be designed and approved prior to testing
  5. Test evaluation needs to be given at most importance
  6. Test control activities has to be identified
  7. Test reporting needs a standard convention to write test report
  8. Look for problems with data exchange format problems
  9. ­Module invocation sequence problems
  10. ­Module synchronization problems­
  11. Module response time problems
